Earthing is the quietest system in a building and the one most often taken on trust. It carries no load, shows no symptom and gives no warning — until a fault current needs somewhere to go. Our earthing work starts with measurement of the actual ground, not a value copied from a previous project.
Design and installation of copper-bonded driven rods, extensible deep-driven systems, earth mats and ring electrodes, buried conductors, chemical and enhanced electrodes, and earth enhancement compound where resistivity is high or ground space is limited.
Two standard field methods — fall-of-potential and clamp-on. One method is taken at commissioning and the other at every inspection after, logged against that first baseline.
One reading tells you the value today. A run of readings tells you whether the system is quietly getting worse — which is the thing you actually want to know.
Metallic services, roof plant, handrails, façades and cladding bonded so that everything a person could touch sits at the same voltage during a fault or a strike — with separation distances calculated rather than eyeballed, and every addition since handover accounted for.
